MESN Chair elected GNDEM Vice Chair

The Malawi Electoral Support Network (MESN) Chairperson, Steve Duwa, has been elected the Vice Chairperson of the Global Network of Domestic Election Monitors (GNDEM).
The election took place in Bali, Indonesia at the Third Electoral Stakeholders Forum.
The Global Network of Domestic Election Monitors (GNDEM) is a worldwide reaching network of over 253 members that includes regional networks, national networks and individual nonpartisan election monitoring organisations from 86 countries on 5 continents.
As a global network, it seeks to advance the methodologies for systematic, fact-based election monitoring and to advance the capacities of regional networks and nonpartisan election monitoring organizations through sharing of knowledge and interactive communications among members.
Apart from being the Chairperson for MESN, Duwa also serves as the Chairperson for the Electoral Support Network for Southern Africa (ESN – SA).
